Little changes amount to big successes!
My mother was diagnosed with MS at a very young age.
My family moved to San Diego and she attended the Health Institute of San Diego (Currently Called OHI). There she learned about healthy eating and exercising. She cleaned up her act, and went from eating fast food, to juicing and embracing plant based eating well before it was "A thing." We watched her transform from being a victim of her disease to being a warrior, by adding an exercise regime to her healthy food plan. She lived to the ripe age of 91.
I believe each person has the ability to create a healthy life.
I have never been "A competitive athlete, but I've always been an athlete. I run and swim regularly. I believe humans are made to move. My passion is helping people find ways to move that motivate and help them become healthier!
I've worked as a Personal trainer and now a Certified Health Coach for over 20 years.
During my career I have taken 3 yoga certification courses, TRX training, Body building training, trained with the Russian Kettle Bell champion, Dmitri Sataev, and learned the best methods to keep seniors independent, strong and fall-proof! I have watched clients make dramatic changes by adding the DASH diet, Mediterranean diet or Plant-based diet to their programs.
I'm passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for wellness with others. I believe preventive medicine is the best medicine. Exercise and good food will help you live an exuberant life! I look forward to helping you work toward achieving your goals, and to live a healthier, more adventurous life!
